The Organics Council ® is committed to public engagement and education and aims to increase awareness of what substances, products and services are damaging our health and polluting the planet. We believe that knowledge is power. We want the public to truly understand what ‘organic’ really is, what harmful substances are present in our everyday goods and what viable, healthier alternatives are available. By gaining this knowledge, you gain the power to make fully informed and safer choices every day – choices that protect yours and your family’s health while helping to protect the planet.
Our social project whatishealthy.info is an open-source scientific article database facilitated by the scientific community and members of the public alike. It was created to develop and share ideas on how to avoid some of the most harmful and polluting substances and materials and how to improve our habits to make our lives healthier and happier.
Get involved, share knowledge and become empowered to make safer choices. You could help us to improve our available resources for yourself and others, and support the Organics Council ® in its mission to make the world healthier, safer and more sustainable for all.
By joining whatishealthy.info, you can:
- Have access to our scientific articles written in layman terms and latest fact-based knowledge
- Get to decide which topics we shall research next
- Vote and elect our next public health campaign
- Stay in touch with our scientists to discuss issues that concern you
- Get involved in our voluntary social work for public good.
